Brief Answer: DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments: 1) There is NO permanent cure for Psoriasis. It is associated with Genetic cause (one-third people) & mostly an immune-mediated inflammatory disease. Psoriatic Arthritis, Nail changes, Erythroderma are common complication in future. 2) Topical Corticosteroid is the MOST effective agent when used continuously for 8 weeks. It should be combined with Vitamin-D. Moisturizers and emollients like mineral oil, vaseline, Calcipotriol, Salicylic acid etc are also useful. 3) BALNEOTHERAPY is another topical therapy, which involves daily baths in the Dead Sea. It is usually done for 4 weeks and with some sun exposure. PHOTOTHERAPY in the form of sunlight can been used in wavelengths of 311 to 313 nanometers. 4) In resistant case, non-biologic systemic agents can be used for psoriasis like methotrexate, ciclosporin, hydroxycarbamide, fumarates and retinoids. 5) Homeopathic treatment is better for temporary purpose only. Kindly, consult with your treating doctor regarding this for proper management. Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query. Wish your good health and take care yourself. Regards, Dr Soumen
