I believe that Thyronorm should be started at low dose (12.5 micrograms) even during Latent stage. 3. Hence, I am of the opinion that the dose of 12.5mcg is CORRECT. However, the dose needs to titrated/adjusted, based on the TSH value, done every two months. 4. The dose of Thyronorm should be adjusted so as to maintain TSH around 1.0 or less. You may therefore, continue with 12.5mcg/day and get your TSH test done every 8 weeks, so that the dose can be modified and the target TSH value of 1 is reached.
