Thanks doctor. I might need a scheduled c section due to medical reasons. I am really really scared I'm so so scared of needles to start of it when I think of it I want to cry. I keep reading on spinal blocks and epidural blocks. What's less painful? I spoke to few friends that have had a c section and they said that when they insert the needle it's very painful but then another friend mentioned that they numb the back so there's no pain. I wanted to ask what's better? And is it painful ?
Brief Answer:
THERE IS NO PAIN
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again.
Please do not panic because there is no pain as in epidural and spinal anesthesia .
For the patient epidural and spinal anesthesia is the same ,but is different for the doctor because it should enter in the different space of spinal cord.
Hence you can choose one of them .
Please be free for further discussion.
