Brief Answer:
To decrease Uterine contractions associated with traveling

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Travelling leads to minor increase in Uterine contractions. Meaning there is minor possibility of abortion while traveling especially for 6 hours. Uterine contractions need to be reduced in order to fly safely.

Utrogestan helps to reduce Uterine contractions. Thereby reducing chance of abortion.

I hope your doubt is cleared now.
