Brief Answer:
Blading tests

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking

There are many reasons how can cause vaginal blading. In elderly women one of the most common cause it’s uterine cancer.

But as you said the gynecologist has included this possibility
Other causes are kidney stones, urinary infection, hormonal dysfunction, use of some medication like blood thinners, rare cases thyroid problems etc

I will suggest you Ct scaner of abdomen, urinalysis, hormons tests

Feel free to ask further
