Question: From last week, there is itching in the inner thighs and groin region, there is also a bit of fluid discharge. I apply vaseline to soothe the effect. It calms down but in the later half of the day it starts again. please suggest

Itching on groin and inner aspects of thighs can be due to fungal infection.

If there is fluid discharge that means there is an associated vaginal infection.

You can apply antifungal and antibacterial ointment instead of Vaseline.

Keep the area dry.

Antifungal powders are also available in the market which can be sprinkled after taking bath.

Take antihistaminic tablet under doctor's guidance and prescription

For vaginitis it is better to show it to a gynecologist.
