Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

Ventoride forte inhaler manufactured by Glaxosmithkline contained the combination of Salbutamol 200 mcg which is a bronchodilator and Beclomethasone 100 mcg which is an inhaled steroid.

Its not available in the market.

A similar product is Aerocort rotacaps(to be used with rotahaler device) with the same content or Aerocort inhalers with salbutamol 100 mcg and beclomethasone 50 mcg.

However please note that any of these cannot and should not be taken without prescription as they carry the risk of sideeffects both minor and major, short term and long term.

Especially in cardiac patients their use is restricted since salbutamol a beta agonist class drug can cause hypertensive crisis, cardiac arrhythmia or paradoxical bronchospasm.

Apart from the above combinations various newer combinations like salmeterol and fluticasone, or formeterol and budesonide are available but each is not free of sideeffects and which is the best in your case can only be decided by your physician after thorugh clinical evaluation of severity and grade of asthma and associated medical history.

So kindly consult your doctor before using any alternative other than what has been prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards
