Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your query with diligence. I am sorry about your current health status.
To answer your queries specifically:
a) why there is delay in my cycle - it is due to the hormonal imbalance between oestrogen and progesterone hormones.
b) urine test says negative for pregnancy - You are not pregnant according to the urine test
c) my HCG says less than 1.2 - This also indicates that you are not pregnant.
Now, to give you my suggestions:
It seems like you are having hormonal imbalance for a couple of months now. Also, the urine and blood tests are negative for pregnancy. This means you are not definitely pregnant.
In such a situation, I would suggest my patient to undergo a detailed ultrasound scan of the uterus and the ovaries to look for pathologies like cystic ovaries, fibrioids.
Also, I would request you to go for hormonal assays like Serum FSH and LH, along with thyroid function tests.
We can conclude on the cause for your absence of periods based on these tests, and treatment can be planned accordingly.
Hence, I would suggest you to go for the above-mentioned tests.
This is a broad overview of what you should do now. Let me know if you have more queries.
Regards,
