Need Information On Wisdom Teeth. Taking Medication For Pain
What are the problem with wisdow teeths
Thanks for posting your query.
Wisdom teeth are actually the third set of molars which normally erupt at a later age than the other two sets of molars which erupt in childhood itself.
Wisdom teeth typically begin growing between the ages of 15 to 25 and many gum and dental problems can develop from the erupting teeth. The most common effects of wisdom teeth coming out are overcrowding of the teeth, an infected swelling in the gum tissue around the growth, and pain or stiffness in the jaw area near the teeth. When the wisdom teeth are growing, most people experience significant pain or irritation around the gumline and inner cheek area; however, there are several ways to stop or reduce wisdom tooth pain.
Prescription painkillers can help reduce the pain from wisdom tooth growth and help reduce swelling and inflammation.
Sometimes your dentist may prescribe antibiotics if infection is suspected.
Wisdom teeth are extracted for two general reasons: either the wisdom teeth have already become impacted, or the wisdom teeth could potentially create problems like recurrent infection of the gumline .
Other reasons wisdom teeth are removed include misalignment which rubs up against the tongue or cheek causing pain, potential crowding or malocclusion of the remaining teeth (a result of there being not enough room on the jaw).
So the best step would be to get yourself evaluated by a dental surgeon and if needed get an xray done to rule out any impaction etc.The further management can be done according.

Wishing you a speedy recovery .

Yesterday we have taken xray doctor suggested to remove it as there is no place to come out the teeths, shall we go ahead and remove the teeths.
If yes, is there any problems after removing the teeths.
Thanks for the follow up.
Yes ,impacted teeth should be ideally extracted.
Mostly extraction doesn't create any long term problems, just pain and bleeding for a couple of days which can be controlled by medications.
If the impacted tooth remains in and not extracted it may push the remaining teeth causing pain or misalignment, overcrowding of teeth etc.
So as per your doctors advise you may go ahead with the procedure which is a very minor and low risk one as compared to it's benefits.
Hope that answers your query.
