Noticed Green Veins On Arms And Legs. How To Know If I Have Miscarriage? Worrisome
Question: Hi iam 23 and married. I noticed the other day that I was examining my breast area, that I have really noticeable big green veins, and my legs and arms. Is it something I should worry about? Plus I also wanted to know how can you tell if you have had a miscarriage or if you can tell? Thank you
Hi there.
Looking at your medical history of presence of heart murmur, you please get the heart function checked by a Cardiologist. Big green veins in chest area are normal if you do not have cardiac symptoms or signs since childhood. But having murmur suggests your right side of the heart should be checked and any abnormality has to be rules out with the help of Cardiologist. This is true especially when the veins in arms are also prominent.
About the miscarriage, if you know you are pregnant for sure but now doubting about miscarriage then a test of blood called beta HCG done after 6 weeks or so is ok. But confirmatory test will be ultrasound (USG) of your pelvis which will tell the status of the pregnancy correctly. And USG can be done right away.
In suspected miscarriage you will start bleeding in most of the cases.
