Hello,

A heart murmur is an abnormal finding and should be evaluated further. It is true that this may be innocent and there is no underlying condition, heart murmur may be present during fever also, but in some cases, septal defects or valve defects may cause it. Such defects may justify such symptoms. A cardiac ultrasound gives the necessary information about this problem.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
