Noticed Heart Rate Around Around 50. Is There Any Problem?

Question: I am a 68 year old male, 5'11", 178 lbs
heart rate has been around 50 normally
was 45 when last checked does the decrease indicate a problem

Athletic persons usually have a low heart rate in ranges of 45-60/min.
Still you should get evaluated by a local physician about the rhythm- get an ECG and also get the BP checked which should be in normal range.
I think it would not cause any major problem and is just a normal variant.
