Premature Child Has Been Given Formula Feed. Takes Burp And Vomits Curdy Milk. Giving Bonisem For Gastric Problem
My newly born daughter is of 44weeks, she was born pre mature in the 30th week.
her weight right now is 4KG, these days what we are observing from the last 3 to 4 days is that after every formula feed she takes a burp and vomits out milk which is curdy twice or thrice. she also has gastric problem for which we are giving her bonisem 2ml twice a day.
Kindly suggest vomiting behavior after feed is ok or not. she is not taking mother feed anymore.

Congratulation Mm your are some of the lucky mothers whose child has reached 4 kg from 1365gms .
This problem you have asked is little common in bottle fed babies.
Many times this is also labelled as GER (Gastro Esophageal Reflux).
Some irritation is going on her tummy. May be you have added bonnison to her. Better to avoid any oral drops.
Bottle fed child are prone to ingest lot of gas during bottle feed which is the important cause of vomiting after burp.
Always keep the bottle more vertical/ less tilted while feeding so that the air in the bottle is towards the upper side and milk is near the nipple so that maximum milk is ingested not the air mixed milk.
Always keep the baby in the sitting position while feeding.
In the last some anti emetic drops may be added for day or two.
Hope your query is answered
