Severe Pain Near Hip Bone. Feeling Nausea And Vomiting. Appendicitis Or Gallbladder Problem?

Question: Last night I had this unbearable sharp pain about 2-3 inches from my hip bone. Sent me into tears, it was almost as bad as labor. I went from the back to the front about the size of my own hand. It lasted for about 25-30 minutes. I hadn't had any bowel movements yesterday, and felt nauseas and threw up after I ate. Could this possibly be something like appendicitis or gallbladder problems?
