Should Additional Contraceptive Be Taken When On Birth Control Pills?

Question: I have been taking Junel fe for years. I started my period early this month...last Wednesday. On Tuesday night, I had unprotected sex... Should I get Plan B if I have been taking my pills regular or am I fine?

The reason I was nervous is that I had a clear mucus that was stringy and read online that can mean ovulation and one is very fertile...I guess the BC would already counter that so I am still good and should run to buy Plan B?
