Should I Be Concerned About These Biopsy Reports?
Question: Please tell me if this biopsy report is all benign or if there is anything to worry about:
Fragments of endometrial polyp
Associated fragments of endometrium showing glandular and stromal breakdown with neutrophilic infiltration and fibrin deposition consistent with recent anovulatory bleeding
Associated fragments of benign endocervical mucosa
(this is the report from my d an c)
Brief Answer:
It is all benign.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I have taken a look at this report. From the information provided, there is no finding in support of a malignant lesion. The benign endocervical mucosa fragments just shows that in addition to the polyp cells, some cells observed were from the endocervical region and were completely normal.
I hope this addresses your query fully and provides enough information for you to act on. Feel free to ask for any clarification or more information if needed and I will gladly respond to.Thanks for using our services and I wish you well.
