Should One Take Medicines For Conceiving While Having PCOD And Thyroid?
Question: Hi ,
I am 28 years old female weight 83 & height 5ft 4Inches bp 100/90. I took medicine for pcod for last 1 year & I have thyroid also & took thyronorm 50 mg. For the last one year my husband is outside of XXXXXXX He'll come in december. I went to my gyn today & told I want to conceive. She prescribed the medicines as given below -
These are the regular tablet I took-
1. folvite daily 1 tablet for 3 months
2.gluconorm sr 1mg twice daily
3.thyronorm 50
for conceiving -
1.adova from starting from day 3 and continue for 5 days
2.Duphaston 10mg twice daily from day 17 & continue for 12 days
3.Suggest to do folliculometry test on day 9
My concern is I am trying for the first time & is it ok to take all these medicines at first ? Shouldn't we try for few months naturally & if nothing is happening then to proceed with medicines?
does these medicines have any side effect for baby? Will i able to deliver healthy baby taking all these medicines ?
