Brief Answer:
Get him evaluated for acidity.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,

Thank you for posting your query on XXXXXXX

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that what symptoms you give are non specific but sometimes people are sensitive to some kind of foods . If he gets a problem after eating something repeatedly he should figure it and avoid it repeatedly .

Another thing can be to get him evaluated for gastritis . Since one doctor suspected him of GERD gastritis can be a possibility . Just take a pantaprazole 40 mg half an hour before food once a day after consultation with your doctor and see if you have some relief . Avoid lying down in bed half an hour after meals , stay upright .

Take care.
