Suffering From Diabetes. Not Getting Taste In Food And Loss Of Appetite. Pain In Neck And Spine. Any Solution?
Question: hi, My father is suffering from Diabetis for the past 30 yrs...
now he is 70 and his health is detoriating day by day.. he is unable to have his food no taste found for him...

A) Is there any history of weight loss?
B) Blood sugar is controlled or uncontrolled
c) Any associated disease apart from disease.
D) Is he taking another medicine apart from anti-diabetic medicines?
2) Deterioration in health, unable to take food and no taste indiactes some sort of systemic involvement. Although health may deteriorate in a diabeteic patient if blood sugar is not controlled as body starts using fat and protein stores.
3) Pain in back spine may be due to generalized waekness.
4) Considering his age, you should go for thorough check up to rule out any malignancy.
5) Any type of cancer may cause all described symptoms.
6) You should also go PET scan of body, x XXXXXXX spine and vertebra to see any malignancy.
7) You should also consult with physician/ endocrinologist.
