Suffering From Migraine. How To Get Relief?

Thank you for contacting Healthcare magic.
Migraine is a chronic condition and headaches can occur for a long time.
Treatment requires two types of medications-
1. Preventive treatment- is required on a daily basis to prevent the recurrence of headaches. Topiramate, what you are taking now, belongs to this group. Other medicines in this group include divalproex, flunarizine, Betacap TR, etc.
2. Pain killers to reduce the headache- this is required to relieve the headache after it occurs.
As of now, you should take pain killers to reduce pain. You may take Tab. Naprosyn 250 mg twice daily for five days. If pain is very severe, you may take injections such as Inj. Voveran.
In addition, continue Topiramate.
Some non-drug measures are also useful. These include-
1. Good 7-8 hours sleep at nights.
2. Timely food
3. Avoid stress, direct sunlight exposure, etc.
I hope it clarifies. Please get back if you have any more queries.
Best wishes,
