Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Following is the dietary regime and medicine recommended for cold associated with pregnancy:
1. DIET
i. Avoid: deep fried food (samosa, pakoda, chips, idli), sour fruits (mosambi, oranges, green grapes, lemon, shrikhand). Protect neck area while riding a bike, traveling in bus/car with open window panes, cold water, rice and milk at night.
ii. Take lukewarm water with honey for gargles, moong/arhar dal, mulethi, laung, old brown rice, chapati with no oil, papaya, black grapes, mainly soft diet- rice, chapati or phulka with non-spicy vegetables, take boiled vegetables.
iii. Take raw ginger + raw turmeric: [2 gm each] and fry in cow’s ghee [6 gm] and thereafter add 6 gm jaggery and take at bed time [during night]
iv. Sitopladi churan: Twice daily with cow's ghee [since it is very simple combination of herbs thus no issues on developing fetus]
- Whoopin cough syrup (Sandu): 2 tsp thrice daily. Khadiradi Vati as lozenges
v. Steam Inhalation 2-3 times a day. Add to water Tinc. Benzoin, Vicks
. Warm salt water gargles
. Take hot drinks: hot coffee, tea or soups 5-6 times a day
. Cover the mouth while coughing to prevent spread of infection to other family members.

I was curious to know if the following medicines : agasthya rasayanam, Haridra Khandam, thaleesa patradi choornam(which were prescribed to me and my relatives for various problems in the past) is any of them safe to use in pregnancy?
Make sure to consult an Ayurveda Physician
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
1. Agastya Rasayana contains haritaki which has laxative as well as drying properties so will not recommend its use.
2. Haridra Khand contains trivrit as well as haritaki [which have mild laxative action as well as induce mild uterine contractions], thus it is best to avoid during pregnancy.
3. Talispatradi churan is best for dry cough whereas sitopladi churan is best for productive cough [wet cough in your case] and again it should be taken under medical supervision [may induce gastric irritation].
Hope I have answered your query.
