Suggest A Healthy Diet Plan For Infant

Breast feeding is best
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Weight of 6.3 kg at 3.5 m for a male child is a little below 50th percentile. Some babies tend to go down the percentiles on the growth chart while breast feeding. It may be because of inconsistency in feeding schedule or low breast milk supply. Usually breast milk supply is appropriate for baby. So try to feed him from both breasts at a time until he is satisfied.
My suggestion is to not start anything else. Let him be a little older. The usually recommendation is to start solid food at 6 vmonths, but if the baby is not growing well and is holding the neck properly, he be started on solid food as early as 4 month. You may start with thinly prepared cerelac at this age.
Breast feeding needs a lot of patience. You also need a hearty diet to get proper milk.
Hope it helps.

Take high calorie foods
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
Your diet should be regular adult diet of 3 - 4 meals and 3 -4 snacks. Your appetite would be more than normal, which is ok. Your food should consist of regular food plus high calorie foods like milk products - foods having more of ghee, butter, cheese, creams, sweets, pinni, laddu, etc. You can take 2 or even more laddoos or pinni at a time guided by the hunger. These foods will help. Even if you gain weight, you will lose it all later.
A wide variety of food should be included in the diet like Blueberries, Legumes, Brown rice, Whole Wheat Bread, Leafy vegetables, Whole grain cereals, fruits, etc.
You do not need food supplements but iron (if anemic), folic acid, vit B12, calcium supplements should be taken regularly.
Hope it helps.
