Brief Answer:
Clinical evaluation and investigations and proper treatment as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/17 - calculus of 7 mm - mod hydro-ureteronephrosis - upper ureter - unbearable pain sometimes - taking Ayurvedic medicines under Ayurvedacharya - wants to know whether there is Allopathic treatment except laparoscopy and wants pain killer ...

Since the stone is 7 mm, it may be possible that it may extrude out with Hydrotherapy.
You will have to consult a Hospital Doctors for this.
This is done by 2 ways:
Oral: in this system a large amount of water or any fluid is taken at one go, this instigates forceful diuresis and the stone may dislodge into the urinary bladder. Any stone that comes to urinary bladder usually passes out of urethra. This process can be assisted by taking Diuretics, antispasmodics which help to dilate the ureter as well as works as painkiller. You need a prescription of these.
Second method is intravenous: The same process can be done by intravenous fluids, and injectable medicines. Consult nearby hospital/General Surgeon.
Painkillers are prescription medicines.

Other than Laparoscopy, there are ways to tackle the stone of this nature if medical management fails:
Consult Urologist.
Ureteroscopy and procedure.
Stenting.
Lithotripsy can be considered.
It is imperative that Intravenous pyelography and/or renal scan should be done to see the functioning of the kidney/s
Tests of blood: CBC. renal function tests
Tests of urine: Routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity should also be done.
The patient is young- just 17 hence all the efforts should be done to avoid the complications and remove the stone at the earliest.

I hope this answer helps you to take a proper decision and treatment.
