Suggest Alternate Over The Counter Medication For Adderall
Question: My wife has narcolepsy. She was diagnosed 15 years ago. She is 50 years old and healthy otherwise she has been on adderall xr 30 for several years and it works very well for her. She has tried. other medications with no Good outcome. now our insurance provider Blue Cross Blue Shield Peehip. Will not pay for the Adderall any longer. We have been through several processes of Appeals with no good results. Her doctor is lazy and does not seem to want to be very helpful. Our provider will pay for the Adderall If she has a diagnosis of ADD is there anything that you could suggest we do

You are absolutely right that when diagnosis of ADD is there, adderall can be prescribed. To diagnose ADD detail history and mental status examination are required.And that is also to be done by a psychiatrist preferably. But yes you can consult another local doctor and get diagnosis on paper and then apply for adderall.
