How To Treat Circadian Sinus Rhythm?

I suffer with Narcolepsy and have to take Amphetimines regularly (4x Daily) to keep awake. As I was having problems with my pulse racing after taking the tablets, I was sent for a 24 hour ECG. Consequently, I was diagnosed with circadianer sinus rhythm. As there is no way I can stop the Amphetamines, and no other drugs are available for the treatment of Narcolepsy, I have been told that I need to take Beta Blockers! My question is:- Is there really nothing more that can be done, or do I really just have to hope for the best and start with Beta Blockers?
