Suggest Alternate Over The Counter Medication For Deplin
Question: Dr. Mendiratta, the Deplin, a form of vitamin B9, will come mail order so I won't get it for another week and a half. It is costing me $00 a month but it is more powerful than going out and buying vitamin B9. Have you heard of it? It's supposed to increase the neurotransmitters in the brain. Right now I have some hope. Has your little turned one yet? What is her name? XXXXXXX

Sorry for the late reply.. Had quite an up down weekend with me being ill, daughter fell ill..So just coping with it
Depin is methyfolate, a different form of folic acid which is helped to enhance the action of the other medications he has prescribed. I have never used it as such, but it is supposed to be useful in enhancing the action of neurotransmitters needed by the brain, that is a synergist in the other medications prescribed.
Do keep your hopes high...I am sure it will work out...At least we are trying something different.

Dr. Mendiratta, whenever XXXXXXX XXXXXXX or XXXXXXX got sick, I wanted to suffer instead of them. I know that you feel the same way about Arayna. Let's get her well for her birthday. I am only taking Rexulti and have yet to take Deplin (by mail). I am feeling SLIGHTLY better on my third week of Rexulti. I should know if I'm feeling better as I've felt extremely bad for so long. I'm greatful for some small relief. Have you heard of Rexulti? It might be fairly new as they started me on samples. Eight months ago my therapist told me that this was all in my head. They had taken the normal blood tests and they were negative. As we know this doesn't show up in a blood test and I can't wait to confront her again. When she told me that I hugged her thinking she was right! That lasted only a few hours. I hope that you are feeling better too. XXXXXXX

Well as for RExulti, it is definitely a new drug.. I have not used it before as such..But as long as it is working, we are on the right path.. 2-3 weeks time is expected for the drug to kick in and make an impact. But make sure, you continue with your group therapy and the meditation along with it so we are not entirely dependent on the drug.
