Brief Answer:
tramadol slightly weaker or oxycodone or morphine

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Nucynta (tapentadol) is a centrally acting opioid meaning that it acts mainly in the brain and spinal cord.

Tramadol is similar to it in terms of its method of action but unfortunately the onset of action of tramadol is slower and there maybe slightly less pain relief.
Nucynta is thought to lie between morphine and tramadol in terms of pain relief.

Oxycodone can also be considered as well.

If tramadol is not effective for you or a combination of tramadol and another pain killer from a different drug family then you may have to consider the use of either morphine or oxycodone

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
