Brief Answer:
Atypical antipsychotics are considered as safe
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. If we consider the Sodium Valproate (divalproex) then the drug is a good mood stabiliser drug. The drug is a drug that should be avoided in altered liver functions but you can give Divalproex without any fear.
Seconde generation atypical antipsychotics like Olanzapine, Quetiapine or Risperidone etc are also helpful in conditions with altered kidney functions. These drugs also act as good mood stabiliser drugs.
Please visit a psychiatrist for help.
Take care, If you have more doubts please don't hesitate to ask again.
