Suggest Alternative Over The Counter Medication For Norvasc

many possible options
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
It is common that calcium channel blockers may cause edema because they dilate the blood vessels and sometimes this causes swelling. There is not much to do but stop the medication at that point.
I am not familiar with a medication called gambersol and I do not see a medication named that on the internet so I do not know what class of drug that is in.
Losartan is a great drug in the class of angiotensen receptor blockers. If that medication dose could be increased that is an option.
Another good option is adding a diuretic.
Other drugs that can be tried are alpha blockers.
I see that you said metoprolol did not work but there are others drugs in the class that may work better for you like carvedilol.
All of the drugs mentioned are available in generic forms so cost should not be a great expense.
