There are two types of IUD :
a. hormonal (mirena)
b XXXXXXX IUD XXXXXXX IUD is cheaper than Mirena and is not hormonal ,to cause any side effect as implanon .

There are many other contraception methods like vaginal Caps and diaphragms but aren't comfortable and are costly .

Hence in my opinion you should take off Implanon and use Copper IUD .

You have abdominal pain or pain during intercourse.

You cannot locate the IUD’s string or if the string seems shorter or longer.

If the you will be satisfied with the IUD and there are no precautions for continued use, then there is no need for further follow-up visits.
