Suggest An Alternative Drug Of Tinaderm For Genital Itching

Question: Please suggest me the alternae lotion to TINADERM. I have a itching problem in my Genital area. 3 years back I had the same problem & I got cured by applying the same, since it is not available pl. suggest me the alternative.

Tolsol or Tinavate lotion are two alternatives of TINADERM.

Thank you for query.
I can understand your concern regarding your skin problem.
Tinaderm lotion contains tolnaftate which is anti fungal agent.
Here are two alternatives for same molecules-
- Tolsol solution from Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals Ltd
- Tinavate lotion from Dabur XXXXXXX Ltd.
You can purchase or order these from local chemist shop.
In case you can not get the above lotion, you can apply candid lotion which contains clotrimazole, other anti fungal agent. It is over the counter medicine and freely available in chemist.
I have a strong suggestion that it is better to consult dermatologist before you use these medicines on your own. They are not over the counter drugs and it is past three years since the last problem.
