Question: hello Dr.
I am 60 years old female. I was on Cipro fora week for uti. I now have aches on my upper legs and shoulder. What can I do help myself.
MAGNESIUM SPRAY ? Suggestion. Please

I am so sorry to hear about these aches that you have reported. These are well recognized side effects of ciprofloxacin. Because you have already taken the drugs, they can no longer be prevented but managed. The good news is that resolution is often spontaneous and may take anywhere from 1-2weeks. I will recommend that you drink much water, have gentle massages and regular sessions of mild physical exercises as well as maintain a healthy diet comprised of much fruits, vegetables so as to hasten the recovery process. Too keep the pain control while the body recovers, take tylenol when pain is bothersome. Keep me updated!!
