Question: Hi my name is XXXXXXX I am 40yrs old my acid reflux has been acting up for the past week a I have been taking my Omeprezole twice a day and for the last few days I have been taking a acid reducer they don't seem to be helping would it hurt if I took mylanta tonight I really feel sick

I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. You can use mylanta. It will help to reduce acid production and improve the symptoms.
2.Otherwise if omeprasole is not effective than you can use Pantoprasole as a new drug generation and more effective.
You can use up to 80 mg of pantoprasole and use gaviscon as an antacide.
