Suggest An Effective Alternative To Glumetza

Question: I have historically been on my husband's Blue Cross of FL. insurance policy until recently when his company stopped insuring spouses. I have procured my own health insurance policy through BCBS of FL. and they will not longer cover my diabetes drug, Glumetza which I have been taking for 3 years and have achieved good control of my Type 2 diabetes (A1C of 6%). My doctor and I have tried everything, and she knows that I did not achieve good results with the generic form of Metformin and has prescribed Glumetza. At this point, I am tired and am considering ordering Glumetza from a Canadian pharmacy. What are your thoughts?
Brief Answer:
Continue the treatment with Glumetza.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I read carefully your concerns.
If you have tried other generic forms of Metformin and has resulted ineffective then continue with Glumetza.
If you can not take it by insurance companies, you can buy it because the price is affordable.
Why are you thinking to order it in Canada?
If you have been taking it by insurance companies then the medication is certainly available in your country.
The most important thing is to keep HbA1c level <6.5%.
Please let me know if you've any further queries
