Since you want to go for Ayurveda management, thus make an appointment with a qualified Ayurveda physician for personal consultation [prakriti evaluation] till then
At present we have to control or modify the risk factors which requires five step approach to the problem:
1. Exercise:
a. Brisk walk for 45 minutes every day, at least 5 days a week. Walking is the best aerobic exercise.
b. Yogasanas: these should be practiced and learned under guidance of an expert, and also after discussing with your physician as to which are permitted .
c. Pranayama: simplest is Deep breathing
PS. If you do not have any expert guidance, walking is the best and safest exercise.
2. Stress Management
. Meditation for 15 minutes everyday.
. Learn to live with a relaxed mind and think positive about your health and life.
3. Low fat diet

1. At no point/stage you should stop the medicines prescribed by your doctor since this is the best treatment (at present) for you to avoid mortality/morbidity in coming months following a heart attack.
PS. In an article published in "Circulation" (journal of the XXXXXXX Heart Association) heart attack patients who stop their prescriptions within 120 days of starting the treatment have 80% more, chances of death than those who duly acknowledge with the prescription.
2. So in best Interest ( initially) it will be wise to follow your attending physician advice & prescription and follow the lifestyle changes which have been imparted earlier.
