Suggest Ayurvedic Treatment For Internal Hemorrhoids

Question: hi,

whats the best treatment for piles. I have been having bleeding plies for almost 7-8 years. Bleeding is not regular but it does sometimes gives me burning sensation and I cant sit at one place for longer duration of time. It becomes difficult for me to sit.

Depends on the grade of Internal piles treatment protocol will differ. second degree and third degree of internal needs surgery.no medication will cure that condition.

kindly give me more details for proper advise:

1. any history of constipation in past/present:

2.did you ever checked your anal and rectal area with proctoscopy with surgeon in past?,if so kindly provide the findings?

3.did any mass coming out after you pass stools?

4.what is your occupation/body weight?

5.any history of piles in your family?

6.after which activity you get bleeding?

provide the details so that i can recommend proper treatment.

1-constipation had in past and in present
2-No anal and rectal area with proctoscopy with surgeon in past.
3-No mass coming out after pass stools
4-i work in MNC/body weight 75kgs
5-My dad had piles
6-Bleeding is not regular now,but sometimes if I eat spicy food or nonveg that's when bleeding happens next morning when I go for latrine.

Thanks for your reply.

Because of poor bowel habit and lifestyle it occur. As you got some control on diet to avoid constipation is well appreciated.

As on and off bleeding per rectum is because of temporary change in diet and lifestyle.
So avoid avoid fired, masala and food which irritates your intestine temporarily.


Ayurvedic medicine is not only recommend healthy medication it insist healthy food, lifestyle which manage both body and mind.

Whatever the system of medication, if its not followed regularly with recommended advise such food intake and lifestyle changes it will not give 100% benefit.

So follow it properly.

Protocol for internal piles:
Oral medication:
Gandaravasthathi kashayam- 15ml with hot water only at night to relieve the constipation
Lodharasavam - 20 ml with 60 ml of warm water twice a day.
Naga bhasma- 100mg twice a day
Triphala choornam- 3g twice a day.
pilorid capsule (nagarjuna)- 2 capsules twice a day.

Diet advice:
Eat more fiber type food in your daily food intake.
Avoid fatty, junk, fried items.
add more vegetable and fruits.

take sesame oil 5 to 10 ml in night after food.

lifestyle:
Walk 20 minutes brisk.
add 3 to 4 litre of water.
dont go bed immediately after taking food.
avoid sitting constantly in one place more than 20 to 30 minutes. Have a gentle walk now and then to avoid the constant pressure in the anal and rectal area.
