Question: IM A 36 YRS OLD, UMNARRIED (FEMALE)NEVER UNDERGONE A MEDICAL TEST.WHAT KIND OF TEST SHOULD I START WITH?A SIMPLE BLOOD TEST IS GOOD ENOUGH?PLEASE ADVICE.

Good to know that you are conscious regarding your health. As you are 36 yrs old, unmarried female, you can go for a general health check up package from any nearby nursing home or corporate hospitals.

The most basic investigations which would be included are: Complete blood count, LFT, RFT, Serum electrolytes, Thyroid profile, Random blood sugar, Lipid profile, Urine routine, ECG, Chest X ray and USG abdomen.

If you are sexually active then a pap smear can be done. And if any family history of any medical conditions then screening investigations can be done accordingly.
