Brief Answer:
Following diet after colon resection

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Usually, a diet after colon resection is soft diet and consists of:
- eat often and small portions
- avoid fiber rich foods
- increase water intake
- soft cooked or canned vegetables (potaoes, tomatoes, etc)
- you can puree the food by using blender
- avoid foods that would cause gas and distention (cauliflower, broccoli, beans, etc)
- soft red meat
- avoid using straw to drink to prevent swallowing too much gas

Hope it will be of help !
