Suggest Dosage For Depo-Medrol
Question: I am taking Depo Medrol shots in my lumbar facet joints. So far I have had 7 shots and expect to have more. How much is too much steroid?
Brief Answer:
Facet joint arthopathy
Detailed Answer:
good evening
thank you for writing on health care magic
Well, That many shots are usually not recommended. If you had to get relief, you would. have got it from one to two shots itself. Repeating it may not be too useful now if you are not getting any more relief.
Secondly, I would like to know if any other medications you have tried for chronic pain yet.. like pregalin or duloxetine? Once the pain becomes chronic, we need these medicines to control it
3. Do you havr any radiation of pain to your legs or any disturbances in bowel or bladder?
Do let me know these details as we will have to step up some treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Good evening
Apologizes for the late reply...Was out of town and never really got to check my question here...
As for the pain, I think we need to switch to you to pain modulators than the pain killers... Lortab /Naproxen are all pretty similar and are providing you with no benefit...
SO I would consider you switching to Lyrica 75 mg at night and then gradually increase the dose. Meanwhile do regular physiotherapy to remove the stress on the spine, which is the only thing helping you out in the long run...
Dont go for any more injections or surgery( not proven very helpful in removing chronic pains)....
Hope the information for useful
Do let me know for more queries. Will be more prompt from now on
