Brief Answer:
You can take both of them

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing through HCM.

I have read your query and understood your concerns. I shall give short answer to your concerns.

If your gastric symptoms have started recently and you have been on both of these drugs for long time then you do not need to stop the drugs.

If your gastric symptoms have started after taking these drugs for the first time within past 2 to 3 days then you need to stop both the drugs.

Act accordingly. Before making any changes to your regime do visit a GP for management of your abdominal symptoms and take advice.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any other query then I shall be happy to help.
Wish you good health.

Brief Answer:
Gabapentin can cause abdominal discomfort

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.

So, you have started mirtazapine and gabapentin before a week and now you have abdominal discomfort with diarrhoea.

If you were my patient then I would have stopped both of these drugs and managed you conservatively.

You need to visit a GP for management of diarrhea, if it is severe. Take oral rehydration powder in water and maintain proper hydration. Take XXXXXXX sporolac three times a day.

After you have improved from abdominal symptoms, visit your psychiatrist for alternative drugs.

Brief Answer:
Nothing serious would happen

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.

If the drugs are stopped within a week, then there will be no withdrawal symptoms.

So, according to my opinion, if you stop the drugs then you shall not be having any serious symptoms or complications.

Brief Answer:
I do not understand the question

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.

I do not understand your question. Are you taking seroquel and celexa together with mirtazapina and gabapentin? or do your doctor have prescribed seroquel and celexa in place of mirtazapine and gabapentin?

Ask clearly. I am waiting for your reply.
Wish you good health.

Brief Answer:
How is your diarrhoea now?

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.

Whether to take the drugs or not was the question because you developed abdominal discomfort and diarrhoea. If your diarrhoea has improved then you can take all the drugs prescribed by your psychiatrist.

If you still have diarrhoea, then also sroquel and celexa are safe drugs, you can take them and follow the advice of your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. If you do not have any further query then close the discussion and rate the answer.
Wish you good health.
