Hello,
Thanks for posting your query in HealthcareMagic,

I have gone through your query,

As per the studies shown, it is expected to sustain it's immunity for at least a period of 2 years and even more. But if you find yourself with a high exposure risk, you can always get a booster dose done or may even check your antibody titre levels checked. Normally it lies between a range of 6-12 IU/ml. If you find your levels to be below that, you can always get a booster done.

I hope this helps,

Regards.

Hello madam,

Thanks for your answer.Presently i gave my blood diagnostic centre to get rabies antibody serum testing done. Previous year when i did the same after getting immunization was 120 IU/ml. Also , I did post the question because outside my office premises a male dog had sneezed before me. Also truly speaking I developed a little phobia with dogs , s it has also became a lil psychological.
Anyways thanks for the answer Mam. Hope if my report shows >= 12 IU/ml , I will not have to take anymore rabipur.
Note : Previously i took 0.1 mm rabipur from pasteur institute , XXXXXXX + Immunoglobulin for my 3rd degree bite. Post 6 months I took 1 more rabipur of 1mm outside a local shop out of phobia. The last dose which i took from local shop for 1mm rabipur i took it wrongly out of my ignorance .....as i asked the person who was giving me injection to push it in both my left and right arm half each.
Thanks again mam.

Hi again,
Thanks for writing back,

Yes, kindly proceed with your blood test and hopefully you will be within your normal levels. No worries as of now. Most probably you are expected to be immune regardless of the improper vaccination.

I hope this helps,

Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close the query and share your positive feedback.

Kind regards,
Dr. Remy

Hello,
Thanks for writing back,

I'm extremely sorry for the delay in replying you back,

I have gone through the attached report. Let me assure you that you are still immune to rabies antigen and do not require any vaccination as of now. You may consider to do a repeat test in a year's time and then can make a decision to go for any further vaccination if required.

I hope this helps,

Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close the query and share your positive feedback.

Regards.
