Brief Answer:
Give Meftal P syrup
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Welcome to HCM.
I know that you are very concerned about your child, but don't worry.
If child doesn't respond to paracetamol syrup in an hour time, then you should give meftal-p syrup (mefenemic acid) 5 ml sos.
During fever, you should use paracetamol first and if fever does not come down in an hour or if it reoccurs, then you should give meftal-p syrup as paracetamol cannot be repeated before 4 hours.
Also, sponging with water should be done.
If fever is not relieved in 24 hours, then we have to look for source of infection.
I hope this will help you.
Take care.
