Suggest Food Supplements To Improve Weak Heart And Lung In An Infant

Question: Hello my baby had successful dorv surgery and is recovering at the moment. Apart from the mucus in his lungs everything seems to be ok. We expect him to leave the hospital next week. He is exactly three months old. After he is able to eat baby food and completely is done with eating powdered formula milk what types of food or supplements do you recommend he should eat so that he can improve his heart and lung conditions.

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
Till 4 months continue with formula.
Then add baby cereals like cerelac, with boiled vegetables and fruits.
Add oil to each feed after 4 months. This would ensure he gets good calories .
