Suggest Health Related Issue To Be Taken Care Of Before Getting Pregnant
I am recently married. We are planning to have baby. Before that just want to get clarity about it.
After intercourse the sperm is coming out from her. Is it normal?
What are the health related things I should take care for her?
Suppose after todays intercourse she got pregnant, I hope we can confirm it only after her next menses delay. In this period is it ok to have intercourse? Will it affect her?
Please guide me.
Hi, Yes! It is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Yes! it is very normal that sperm come out from her vagina after intercourse but it does not mean that she can not be pregnant, the reason is that the amount she needs to get pregnant is one healthy sperm and in one ejaculation man at least secrets 40- 100million sperm. Some semen remain in her posterior fornix that can cause her pregnant.
She should take care of these health related issue before getting pregnant-
1) Consult a doctor and get her basic blood test done and get vaccinated.
2) If there is family history of diabetes, hypertension, asthma and thyroid present it should be taken care of before getting pregnant.
3) Take healthy high protein diet with lots of vegetables and fruits and maintain her weight.
4) Stop taking alcohol, minimise her caffeine use and do not smoke.
5) Take multivitamin and folic acid daily at least 3 months before planning pregnancy.
6) Do some exercise, be relaxed, do not take stress.
No, you can confirm pregnancy as early as 14 days after her ovulation by highly sensitive home urine pregnancy kit if you know her date of ovulation but chances of false negative is there, so in my opinion you should go for home urine pregnancy test after 7 days of her missed period.
Yes! you can go for intercourse, it will not affect her but you should take some precaution if you are thinking that she might be pregnant.
I think I have answered your query if you are having further questions I will be happy to help you.
Good luck.

Thankyou very much for your detailed answer. Suppose if I think she might be pregnant(in the first 30 days before pregnancy confirmation), will long bus travels(5 to 6 hrs) and heavy works(sitting and washing cloths, bringing water from ground floor to 1st floor etc) affect her pregnancy?
It may affect....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Nice to see you again.
The chances of miscarriage are more common in first trimester of pregnancy.
So if possible she should avoid long hours journey and heavy work during this period.
I think this information is useful to you.
Hoping for your good future and more questions from you in future also.
Good luck.
