Brief Answer: Folic acid is safe, ultrasound for excess bleeding Detailed Answer: Hello, I would like to know what symptoms are you experiencing which make you feel anemic. To confirm, you can get your hemoglobin levels tested from a laboratory. It is commonly performed as part of complete blood count or as a separate test (hemoglobin level) at all laboratories. Till then eat green vegetables in meals, jaggery, fruits like XXXXXXX pomegranate and avoid excessive caffeine especially with meals. It is safe to use folic acid while trying to conceive and is recommended by most gynecologists. But don't take the drugs you have been using for decreasing the blood loss. If you are having excessive blood loss in every cycle then you should ideally get a pelvic ultrasound done to look for the cause and sought for proper treatment for the same. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
