Suggest Ideal Exercise And Diet During Pregnancy

Question: Hi Doctor,

I am 5 month pregnant and I need some advice on exercise and diet during pregnancy which will help me to deliver naturally.

So far, all my reports are normal and everything looks fine but my TSH3RD GENERATION is 4.714 which is on border and my doctor has started me with thyroid tabs. Apart from this I am not on any other medication.

Welcome to HCM,

Yes your TSH levels are slightly high , in pregnancy of 5 months the level should be less than 3. So it would be advisable for you to take thyroid medications. Your doctor is correct in giving you the prescription.

Regarding exercise you should do pelvic floor exercises from 32 weeks to help you during labour.

No specific diet to make it more prone to a natural birth. But eat atleast 4-5 helping of fruits and vegetables a day.
