What Causes Pain In Hips To Ankle?

Female 52, 170, healthy. Eat well and exercise regularly. I have a lot of pain on my left side from my hip to my ankle, mostly around the knee. Osteopath says rotated pelvis due to tight pelvic muscles caused by? Perhaps 6 years of teaching pilates and yoga? Constantly holding my stomach in. I have painful periods and sex can be painful.
