Suggest Medical Tests To Rule Out Heart Problem
Question: Hi Doctor, How do i find out if we have any heart problem?
Does Sweating is the only indication? because i dont have any chest pain but i feel sweating. and also have back pain.
Will a ECG solve my fear of any heart problem?....also I have dry cough...i was advised by a doctor that i have allergies.....

Thank you for your query. I understand your concern.
I don't think you have anything to worry about your heart.
Sweating is NOT a symptom indicating heart problem. Physical exertion can cause it. It need not be necessarily due to heart abnormality.
Heart problem (based on different type) can present in a number of ways. Some of complaints which requires immediate attention towards Heart are sudden chest pain due to unknown cause, breathlesness, easy fatiguability, palpitations,skipping of beat, swelling of hands &feet, sudden loss of consciousness etc.
I would suggest you to undergo some screening tests like ECG, Treadmill test to rule out any cardiac pathology.
Echocardiogram can give details about valvular structures (inside of heart).
These investigations are preliminary tests in majority of heart conditions.
They will definitely give an idea about the status of your heart.
