Brief Answer:
Second line medication should be tried

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the asking on this platform

In your medication history you have mentioned that she is getting foclin xr(methylphenidate)for last four years.
Although Methylphenidate is most effective and thus the first line treatment for ADHD,if there is no improvement second line drug like Atomoxetine should be tried.Unlike methylphenidate it is nonstimulant medication.

The treatment of ADHD include medication and behavioral therapy of child along with parenting skill training.
It has been seen that children with ADHD had lower levels of iron, zinc, iodine and polyunsaturated fatty acid.
I would suggest you to consult your child's psychiatrist for change in medication along with behavioral therapy.Give supplement of multiminerals and omega3 fatty acid for better effect.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Regards
