Suggest Medication For Allergic Bronchitis While On Zithromax Z-Pak
Question: When I lay down and when I get up- I feel as if infection is moving down my head, neck and jaws, they ache- then my chest begins to burn and my throat also becomes very sore and my back aches very bad. This all takes places for about 15 minutes, then goes away and I feel fine? I have taken a Z pack from my doctor. This has been going on for approximately 4 weeks. Our youngest son had a very persistent cough and recieved 2 does of medicine and it went away, my wife had the same thing. I wonder if my systems -though quite different could be related to there illness?

The response varies from person to person as it's Allergic response most commonly aggravated by infection or exposure to dust and fumes.
Now since you have already taken Zpack you don't need any antibiotics.
I would recommended in such case Bronchodilators like Deriphylline with Anti Allergics like a combination of Levocetrizine and Montelukast.
In cases who don't response to these Inhaled Steroids like Budesonide can be given for short course.
Do steam inhalation and avoid exposure to cold and dust.
